Seven secrets of great sleep

1) Eat and live healthily
Insomniacs must avoid or cut down on caffeine, cigarettes and other stimulants. They shouldn’t eat heavy or spicy dinners just before going to sleep which stops the body from winding down.
2) Relax
Stress raises blood pressure and increases acidity thus finding hard to sleep. Create an oasis between the days events and going to bed. Deep breathing, simple yogic asana, and meditation are good for unwinding.
3) Exercise more
If u go jogging, ride a bicycle or go swimming for half an hour at least 3 times a week, you will need more sleeo and you will increase your deep sleep phases.
4) Improve the bedroom
Make bedroom as restful as possible keeping it away from mosquitoes and use curtains or blinds to darken the bedroom as far as possible to get a better sleep.
5) Go to bed at right time
Go to bed and get up at about the same time every day, including weekends. A regular time for getting up ensures that our biological rhythm isn’t disturbed.
6) Create a bedtime ritual
A bath in tepid water can make you sleepy. Banana or hot milk with honey gears the brain for sleep.
